CURRENT MISSION

I'm traveling from Hamilton to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City for the month of November. Ideally I'd like to couch surf as much as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm very laid back, down to earth, go with the flow kind of person. Love exploring new cities for their culture, music scene, food and people! I graduated with a bachelors in Environmental Studies and I'm currently looking for employment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couch surfing experience was in Minneapolis, MN, U.S.A. where I went for a weekend to see a concert. A friend and I stayed in an old fraternity house that is now a co-ed student co-op, our host graciously gave up his room for us to sleep in. The night ended with us sitting on their porch until the morning light, talking to some of the roommates coming from all walks of earth. Needless to say, this experience opened my eyes to the couch surfing community.

Interests

I'm the type of person who would rather spend money on intangible experiences and creating memories, even if that means just getting a drink with friends. That being said, my all time favourite things to do is checking out live music, eating and anything that has to do with the outdoors. Even though I don't get the opportunity to do it often, I love to canoe, kayak, hike, camp, play volley-ball and of course travel. It doesn't matter where we are or what we're doing, as long as I'm surrounded by positive people; I'm happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty open when it comes to music, you'll mostly find me listening to alt indie, acoustic, folk and some more relaxed EDM.

Wes Anderson movie marathon anybody?

Currently reading Sapiens, highly recommend it.
