About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out what my new mission is, until then advance the fronteirs of exploration.

ABOUT ME

*If my profile says my last login was in Potwin, Kansas (or some other weird place) ignore it. This is some sort of error that happens everytime I log into the site with my phone's browser. I have noticed it on other profiles too.

I love chinese food, I like to read bumper stickers, I love my friends and hanging out, spending time with the people I care about is one of the most important things to me. I enjoy strategy games, I like to sing karaoke, my favourite hard liquor is Tequila. I like humor and twisted stories, arts and crafts. I have a funny and unique laugh. I like most music don't care for country too much. Modest Mouse is one of my favorite bands. I have a tattoo of a camel on my leg because that's my spirit animal and it represents endurance, perseverance and tolerance. I like to drive a lot and love trips and outings. I am an environmental and social rights activist. I am extremely open minded and a free thinker, I can get along and find good in almost anything, anyone, and any situation. I am very adaptive and can really make almost any situation or environment my own. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I can sometimes be a bit shy at first. Chat with me for a bit or give me a few drinks and I'll open right up.

PHILOSOPHY

I've given the finger to society and hit up the road with the rest of them crossed hoping to make the best of it. The way I see it, we're all in this together, we all gotta share this planet and it's resources with each other, everything that anyone does affects everyone else in some way, so why don't we all just be friends and live life. I live my life in hopes that I will make as many new friends as possible, that I will be an instrument of peace and understanding and can spread love and peace throughout the world, one person at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started by surfing, then did some hosting. I also am involved in my local CS group, they are a very fun and extremely active. One of the best bunches of people I've met in a while. Now I'm getting ready to surf again, Oh and I participate by being awesome

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far everyone I met here I would rate anywhere from pretty cool to totally awesome, no negative experiences whatsoever. This is one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have spent about 2 years on and off surfing all over the country and doing all sorts of crazy things. I spent a lot of time hosting in Chicago and going to events there for a while, and I left in June to start a 4 month road trip that hasn't really technically ended yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving alone for 20 hours without stopping, driving with a passenger for 34 hours and not stopping (except for gas.) Being an activist, traveling across the country and CSing for over 4 months.
I stopped a coal gasification plant from being built in my state.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ok this one is different but I like it so here goes:

I love linguistics and I know Spanish I wouldn't mind teaching a little bit, what I really know alot about is activism and different social and environmental "issues." I could go on forever about things like: evil corporations, corrupt politics, the bottled water industry, water pollution, renewable energy, mountain top removal coal mining, nuclear power, sustainability, and other related topics. I also am good with my hands and at building/assembling/inventing things. I love computers and can build one from scratch, I also like to do arts and crafts like macrame and painting and stenciling that I can teach, Now I'm not a religious person by any means, but I do believe in power animals and I can take you on a spiritual journey to find yours.
