About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get a boat, take it on the ocean, get a pony, and ride it on my boat.

ABOUT ME

i've been living in budapest, hu and seattle, usa on and off for the last 3 years. i'm a masters student in math, and thats what keeps me interested and pays the bills for most of the year.

as for free time, i play music and i cook-- american southern food (i.e. soul food), hungarian food, indian food. i also really enjoy riding bikes (cycle touring especially). this past summer i was out on the road for about 50 days, including a month long trip through the balkans.

i like coffee a lot, i quit and start smoking at least twice a year, and i never get tired of talking about the weather.

PHILOSOPHY

life is pretty short, so its worth while to do a lot of things all at once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't use my account very often. I've lived with people who are into hosting, and had a good time meeting and playing basketball with many of the people who came through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time when i was cycling in serbia i saw a pile of garbage--mostly plastic-- on fire whose base was as big as a football field, and there were people working in there who weren't wearing protective clothing or masks.

i've never had much money, and in fact i'm crushingly indebted by my student loans. even still, i've managed to travel more often and see more places than i ever thought i could even with all the money in the world. this is also sort of amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share
