ABOUT US (Martin and Ginette)

We love travelling and have visited many countries like Vietnam,India, America,lots of countries in Europe, Ghana and Ethiopia. I spent 2 months living with a Mexican family and learning Spanish then travelled through Central and South America for 10 months with Ginette. We were lucky enough to take another 6 month trip in 2010, travelling from Istanbul through Iran, Central Asia, China and South East Asia where we enjoyed our first fantastic Couchsurf experiences. Just back from Chile!
I (Martin) play football and enjoy watching football with friends- I support a local football team and regularly go to watch them play. I enjoy foreign films and discovering new bands - I regularly go to gigs (alternative-ish stuff) and music festivals. I'm into running too 5K to half marathon. Been home brewing beer too recently.
Ginette has a bike tour business, running tours around the beautiful area we live including Royal Parks and along the River Thames so if surfers want to join a tour they can! www.merrypedallerbiketours.co.uk

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed with families in Iran, Kazakhstan and Ukbekistan whilst we were away travelling and it was amazing! A great way to see the country properly, and get a fantastic experience.

Since our return in 2011 we have been hosting ourselves, meeting fantastic people and even visiting some of them in Europe.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Can't pick 2 or 3! Went travelling through Central and South East Asia for 6 months and the best experiences were couchsurfing with families in Iran, Ukbekistan and Kazakhstan!
