CURRENT MISSION
to keep moving until something tells me to settle down
ABOUT ME
CUrrently living in Townsville, QLD. I grew up in Adelaide, Australia. I love it here. If it snowed here it'd be the perfect place!I study journalism at the University of South Australia.I'm easygoing, but everyone says that so that's nothing new! I'm always trying to find something new to do. I enjoy the odd booze night and drives through the Adelaide Hills and around Yorke and the Fleurieu Peninsula (if you're in Adelaide contact me and I'll see if i can take you there!).What else?...i love the cold...and small towns...and mountains (don't even get me started on Norway or Canada!). And my mates always give me shit for this, but if i see a puppy chances are i'm gonna spend the rest of the day talking about it.I hate planning too far ahead when travelling. Just wing it and make as many mistakes as you can along the way! works for me anyway.I get bored easy, hence all the travel. My favourite trip in Australia was when myself and a few mates hired a van in Darwin and drove it down to Adelaide (a 3500km drive!). Outside of Australia i don't know. I used to be able to list my top 3 favourite countries, but i don't have favourites anymore. It's too hard. There are so many wonderful things about every country i have been to. GO TO IRELAND, BOSNIA, NORWAY, ESTONIA, INDIA, LAOS, CANADA, ARGENTINA, IRAN, KOSOVO! They are great places.
PHILOSOPHY
making mistakes is the best way to travel. Better stories. more fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling India. Spent a night in a rock shelter in the Indian Himalayas, although never having trekked before and without proper gear. Then a week later was in Mumbai for the Nov 2008 terrorist attacks. You never know what to expect in India.
And travelling Iran for the same reason!
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't be worried about things going wrong (i.e. getting on the bus to the wrong city because you misread the TV). They might piss you off at the time, but they are the stories that you remember and that people back home enjoy hearing about.
