ABOUT ME

I am musician, folklorist/anthropologist and traveler from Lithuania. People usually call me "Citizen of the world", because I cannot stay in one place)
In 2015 spring, this idea popped into my head: "What if I could just travel for a year?" So, now me and my girlfriend are hitch-hiking over the world. We think, that started our Life Great journey. (We have already over hitchhiked Europe, and entered Turkey)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is one of the best way to experience the world and meet new people.
I am new in that community, but I like CS (I am talking not about Counter Strike :) ) idea very much.
[Of course, when we will come back to Lithuania, we will share our flat with other coutchsurfers. But now our plan is to travel for 1 year...]

Interests

I have two passions: playing folk music and traveling.

I can play various folk music instruments, but especially I like traditional accordion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSzFFpxB1os&feature=youtu.be )

Second my passion is traveling.. I like all ways of traveling: hitch-hiking, cycling, hiking, canoeing , etc..

Also I am interested in traditional handicrafts (weaving, making traditional music instruments..)

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk music, for sure. Various types of metal music, singing poetry, Russian poetic rock.

Books... I read a lot of, so its very hard to choose some most favorite books.
But now I admire F. Dostoevsky creation..
