About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life, help others, see the world, make friends

ABOUT ME

I'm learning, interested, usually creative, hopefully funny, and open to new adventures.

My wife and I have traveled many places by ourselves and in groups. We have seven children between us and life is good.

I tutor math to young adults working for their GED and computer usage to seniors. My wife volunteers in the infusion section of a local hospital.

We are interested in sharing our lives with others as we travel.

PHILOSOPHY

Principles:

1. think for yourself
2. act for others
3. leave it better than you found it
4. make new stories

I can do most anything if you give me enough time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had two super positive experiences positive during our first CS year travelling to North Carolina, Washington DC and Cincinnati, OH. The next year we have hosted 7 or 8 times and been amazed with the wonderful people and experiences this has produced.

We have hosted two 3rd Sunday potlucks and I'm a regular attendee at weekly meetups around the city.

The last 4 or 5 summers we hosted Bi-weekly meetups at our house and yard focused on community building via volleyball, food, drink, conversation, etc. About 20 to 40 each time - neighbors, friends, CSers, etc. Much fun.

I've met many CS's some of whom are now close friends.
