ABOUT ME

I'm an art student. I am working on my second degree, my second BA (well, BFA). Lateral move? Maybe. They're connected, and sort of represent two parts of my practice; I'm not simply indecisive. Let's say that I'm not in Masters mode yet. Not even really into finishing, maybe I will be a student FOR EVER.

Except that now I'm a teacher, of the English language to children, as so many of us who have been privileged to grow up in the west are these days. Despite my occasional misgivings about milking that privilege, it's been a great move and I'm so happy to have done it.

Part of moving all the way out here was to meet new people, to have a home base closer to places I'd like to see, and to gain some perspective.
