I’ve been a member of Couchsurfing for over 20 years! My first reviews are ancient history now, but they are a reminder of where my journey began. After a long break spent on the oceans and in workshops, I’m back and ready for new adventures."
​I’m a creative soul with a craftsman’s hands and a photographer’s eye. After spent 7 years sailing the Caribbean as a professional photographer for Carnival Cruise Line, I decided to trade the ocean waves for the solid ground of my homeland and the majestic mountains.

​I’m a classically trained artistic carpenter and woodcarver, which shaped my attention to detail. Lately my journey took me from professional food and real-estate photography to the world of graphic design and building my own web projects. Currently, I’m embarking on a new chapter in the HVAC field, combining my technical skills with a newfound discipline.
​I am also a total beginner in German. I’ve just started learning and I’m excited to dive into this new language! I’m a morning person who starts the day with meditation and a workout – I believe that a clear mind and a strong body are the keys to a good life.

"I believe in collecting experiences, not things. My journey started as an artistic woodcarver, but soon I found myself cooking in a 5-star hotel in Ireland. From there, I went to New Zealand, where I hitchhiked across the islands with strangers, collecting stories that range from hilarious to extreme.
For 7 years, I lived on cruise ships, visiting countless Caribbean islands. I’ve smoke a joint in Bob Marley’s house in Jamaica (and then spent days terrified of a random drug test on the ship!), explore the Mexican jungle where Predator was film and went scuba diving 15 meter deep after a 2 - hour crash course I barely understood. On my very first contract, the entire ship had to wait for me because I was busy enjoying food and beer with guest. Not understand enough English to know when to be back!
I’ve skydived (tandem jump), ski in the massive resorts of France, and recently visited a friend in Chile whom I met years ago in New Zealand. Through my years of photographing food in top restaurants, I also taught myself how to cook like a pro. I’m constantly looking for the next 'unseen' adventure and another story to tell."

I’m currently a total beginner in German, so I’m eager to learn any basic words or phrases. I’m also open to learning anything about local traditions, gardening, or any DIY skills you might have. I love learning through stories and life experiences."
