ABOUT ME

I consider myself personable, open, ethical, reflective but outgoing.I was born in Bangladesh but have lived mostly in the US and for a short while in Europe for the last 32 years. I am very international by nature and like people who are open. I do not like excessive nationalism, tribalism, religious or ideological fanaticsm, and politics. However, I am a Sufi and therefore tend toward inclusive spirituality.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, learn, love and Leave a Legacy.

Ethics, faith, compassion, and simplicity are the corner stones, around which I organize my life. In every human relationship, I apply two principes: Love and Respect. Everyday is a new day and tomorrow will be better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never have had CouchSurfing experience before. I usually stay in Hostesl where I meet people from different parts of the world. That I enjoy very much. I made friends there and many of them around the world stayed at my place. That is why I have signed up CouchSurfing to help people stay and meet them.

Interests

Music, Sunday Mornign Cafe, History, Philosophy, Spirituality, Information Technology, Problem Solving, Science and Technolgy especially environmentally friendly one, Volunteering.
I work as an IT Engineer and rest of the time, I do Bikram Hot Yoga & meditation, Exercises at the Y, watch movies, listen to music and read.

Movies: Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, Downton Abbey, James Bond Series. Favorite actors: Audrey Hepburn, Charlize Theron, Sean Connery, Humphrey Bogart.
Music: Beethoven, Mozart, Sufi Music, U2, Beatles etc are my favorites.
Books: Rumi Wisdom, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, The Power of Now & other philosophical, spiritual, travelogues and historical books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in Scandinivia, across the US, Colorado. My favorite campsite on a beach near Red Forest in Humbold County of Northern California is a heaven on earth.
