Overview
About Me
I am a down-to-earth Chinese guy working in the tech field for a large Telecom corporation in Toronto Canada. In my prior working experience, I've travelled to over 40 countries on business, however during my spare time there, meeting new friends and sharing extraordinary experiences would be another interesting thing on my to-do list, and have an insight into those culture shocks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, couch surfing does not only benefit people who are budget-conscious, but also provides the opportunity to make new friends and have a in-depth experience of local culture, have a profound impression on their day to day activities, which is definitely the best way to learn about a new country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I shook hands with the president of Mexico in 2012, had a short conversation with the VP of BBC Global. What amazed me most is the chance to give a speech in Latin America Summit of Broadcasters and Telecommunication operators at the age of 25. And the speech was in full Spanish, it was one of the largest challenges I ever faced in life. But lucky enough, I nailed it.
Teach, Learn, Share
When I meet new friends, I would like to learn their local language. For instance, when I was working in Peru, I tried to learn both Spanish and Quechua, which is a native Inka language. I consider it a respect of local culture. In return, I would also like to teach my friend some basic knowledge of Chinese and Chinese history.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can mainly share with hosts about my past traveling/working experiences in different countries and those extraordinary incidents/funny stories/learnings I encountered there. If the host is interested in business or working in China, or even looking for business cooperation a in China market, I can also provide some advice based on my knowledge.
