Hi !
I'm Marvin, I live in the Paris area, France. After finishing my studies in 2016, I worked one year in an insurance company. After this, I decided to travel around the world, in order to discover new people, new cultures, new ways of life and to fill my mind in amazing and unforgettable memories !
Indeed, after a few days of holidays in UK in 2014 and in USA in 2015, I needed to live a real adventure. That's why I obtained a WHV in New-Zealand in 2018. I travelled all around the country for six months, living the dream in natural and beautiful places, meeting a lot of great and friendly Kiwis along the way, and working in a fruitpicking company for 1 month.
After that, I returned in France for family issues. That's when I realized travel is essential in my life : I can't stay inactive ! So I planned a trip around Vietnam for one month in November, where I discovered an all new south Asian culture.
Then had an unforgettable and breathtaking road trip in Australia for another month.
Now, a new year is beginning and I decided to end this year of travel in New-Zealand (yep, again !). I'm only here for a few weeks and I'd like to enjoy another experience : share moments with inhabitants of this beautiful country thanks to couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for discover new persons ; learn about culture in my host's country ; also improve my english communication.
CS is an incredible platform where we can meet other persons who share the same purpose : meet new people, share our history and discover a different culture.

Interests

I enjoy to read books, to go to the cinema with my friends, to spend time with my family, to cook some pastries,...
I also enjoy to do some hiking : I love walking and to be at the nearest contact of the nature.
But overall, my new interest is to travel. There are so many countries to discover around the world, so many cultures and people who want to share it !

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy POP Music, French music and moreover 80's international music.

My favourite kind of book is thriller, but I enjoy adventure, documentary, suspense too.

Thriller, Comedy, Historic movies are those who interest me the most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In fact, there are two amazing things I've done and seen.
The first one is to do the Alpine Crossing of the Tongariro in New-Zealand : what a breathtaking moment, so beautiful, and the happiness of having done a great walk.
The second one is my flight over the Great Reef Barrier in Australia. That was amazing, I still can't believe I've seen it !

I can share some of my french culture, help you if you want to learn french.

I would like to improve my english skills, in order to communicate easier with others, but also learn the culture of your country and your way of life.

My happiness, my open-minded to the world, my help in any domain if you need to.

I can hold a good conversation, help you in everyday life (cooking, gardening, DIY,... even if I am not a chief in it !).
