About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My missions are save the world by power of capitalism and struggle against economic globalization: so poor nations and working classes can go to the rescue and rule the world.. or not?

ABOUT ME

I was born and I grow up in a small and forgotten region in the center south of Italy. Italians usually say that Molise, the region I come from, doesen't exist, so it would be like hobbits, or the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, or muggles and so on. I live in Rome because of studying, but I would like to move in China for work. I'm not more intelligent than other persons; although I'm a little bit shy, I like to be in company, listening stories and talking about everything, from world iussues to daily pleasures. Of course I'm open-minded and I like sharing, otherwise I would never used CS. I'm peaceful and curious. I believe in social justice and nations right of selfdetermination. I also believe in an ecosustainable society development and in a sustainable road moving (moving by feet, the best way to move). I espoused the BDS cause, that means Boycott, Disinvestiment and Sanctions against Israel, and I'm still carrying it on. I go hard at coherent life styling, and please! don't fool me of my ex prime minister: I've never voted for him!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy has something to do with communism and travels. It was described by three of the most important italian songwriters, who are De André, Gaber and Guccini. They wrote beautiful songs about every human affairs, from social problems to relationship between humans, passing by feith and religion. I write down three verses, one by each poet, but I won't traslate them 'cause it means ruine the beauty of language, so the purity of thought: "per la stessa ragione del viaggio, viaggiare" (De André); "“qualcuno era comunista perché vedeva la Cina come una poesia, la Russia come una promessa, il comunismo come il paradiso terreste" (Gaber); "è facile tornare con le tante stanche pecore bianche! Scusate, non mi lego a questa schiera, morrò pecora nera" (Guccini).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Give couchs and request couchs. Enjoy groups. Leave references for my guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first CS experience is like the first love: unforgettable! My guests were Emiliano and Florencia from Argentina, a nice couple who came in Europe to travel for a year. I hosted them in September 2012, when their trip started, and in September 2013, when it was over. I will alway have a good memories of the time we spent together.

Interests

I'm interesting in Far East cultures, especially in chinese language and history. I'm really interesting in politically affaires and I'm caring about Palestinian-Israeli conflict. I like write, but unfortunately I am not gifted. I love listen to live music, especially that one by unknown instrumental groups who play in half empty pubs. I really like spent my nights with friends talking about something stupid and drinking a bottle of good wine. I love mountain and trekking. I love travelling by feet 'cause I really believe in the values of "slow move" (this is a bed translation, I konw, but I've done my best).

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a million dollar question! I like italian neorealism films, overall socially conscious/issues films. I also like asian films or docufilms, such as Hóng Gāoliáng or Guītú Lièch

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amusing thing I've ever done was spent some days in a seventeenth century village in South Korea, sleeping in a mud made house, talking with ancient monks and taking part to Buddhist ceremonies.
Anyway, the best travel I've ever done was my first time in Trentino, not only because of the Dolomites landscape which took my breath away, but above all because of lovely people I met. I have treasured memories of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would test my Chinese, I would like to know anything about your country, and is there anybody can teach me playing chess?
Unfortunately I just speak Italian. I have no special abilities, but I can pack camping backpack very well, and I make quite good italian dishes.
We could share whatever you want, from time to food, of course experiences and please! creazy ideas!
