Discovering new music (alternative, electronic, soul, singer/songwriter), boosting vegan lifestyle and deconstructing gender stereotypes (hmm, maybe gender at all).

ABOUT ME

Good humour, good style, enjoying watching and listening, quiet but not boring, sometimes ironic, sometimes warmhearted.
I’m gender-free. I’m what? Gender-free. I deny gender roles. It’s social construction and bare of any usefulness. It’s designed to limit people’s potentials and their ways of expression. (For example, there’s no such thing like “men’s clothes” or “women’s clothes”—it’s a marketing trick.)
I have a strong empathy, logically I am vegan.
There’s a beautiful tiny cat living with me.
And I live in polyamorous relationships—a real happiness booster.

PHILOSOPHY

We take ourselves too seriously. Our lives are too meaningless to waste energy for repressing or for imposing own wills on others. Anybody should live his life as she or he wants AS LONG AS NO OTHERS GET HURT BY IT. There's no rule for "the right life".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering hosting (sometimes), asking hosting (rarely).
But I always fancy a cold beer just around the corner, sitting on a sunny sidewalk in Prenzlauer Berg in front of a Peruvian Späti, watching people and animals go by and having a chat. Message me—don’t be shy! I also love bicycle rides throughout Berlin and can provide a bike for guests or visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't surfed a couch yet. But my couch has been surfed. Pleasant experience. I was more concerned about my guest having limited privacy than the guest her/himself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many. Music examples: The Shins, The Decemberists, Band Of Horses, Maxïmo Park, Laura Veirs ... Movies: any that is good (see IMDb.com for ratings beyond 7.0). Books: Few, I don't read that many books. But I like Nick Hornby, Ian McEwan, Joe Meno and many German novelists of the last century as well as of my age.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking barefoot the whole summer anywhere and anytime was indeed an outrageous experience I didn’t expect in the beginning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know about pop music and movies, I know about German language, I have thoughts about the quality of food and goods and I have very progressive theories on the liberation of genders. And I love to share all of it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Couches, music, home cinema, vegan cooking, exploring vegan places, excursions to lakes, crawling the city by bikes, fashion shopping, having a beer or two.
