Hello there, I'm Mary-Alison but I go by Mali. I'm 23 and ready to travel and explore! I want to see the world and live an abundant life doing it. I'm pretty outgoing and love talking and meeting new people. Laughing and sharing stories with other people is amazing. I live in Austin, Tx but have also lived in some other parts of the country as I grew up which definitely gave me a taste for travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's a very unique way to travel and actually get to know the world! There is a difference between connecting with locals while traveling and just staying in a standard hotel! Human interaction is so incredible and so I would love to make friends along the way. I value the importance of being hospitable and welcoming people into a home! I want to respect and honor your space as I stay but also see what we can learn from one another!

Interests

I like food, coffee, running, hiking, and walks! I'm up for adventure and trying new things! I'm currently a Pilates instructor so fitness and health are very important to me as well. I like taking pictures and trying to capture moments with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite type of Music is anything that sounds good or produces an emotion! Movies, same thing, depends on the mood I am in. I would say I am more of a fan of movies that are "epics" or have an incredible plot. I also enjoy movies that are based on a true story, movies that capture what has happened in the past and paint a better understanding of history. Books! I need to read more, reading is so incredible. There are many books to still be read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played some college soccer so that's fun! Not sure how "amazing" that is, but it's one of my talents I guess. I also got to go on a trip to Cozumel Mexico as a nanny for three weeks and that was amazing! I also went to the Women's World Cup in Canada when the United States won the gold!

I just want to live an abundant life like I have previously mentioned. I want to live it to the fullest, with no regrets! I don't want to miss opportunities and chances to love the world.
