I love hiking, canoeing, white water rafting, and drinking local beer when I travel. I am extremely interested in the geology and natural features located within another country.

My undergraduate is in Military History and I love talking about history. I find world history fascinating and I love to learn about other cultures.

I'm nerdy and love talking about geology, meteorology, space travel, and politics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a graduate student, I produce research that is frequently accepted to international conferences. Often, I am unable to afford the travel costs to attend these conferences. Couch surfing enables me to stay in affordable locations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music except country; specifically, I love EDM and progressive metal.
My favorite movies are Fight Club, Snatch, Lord of the Rings, Mad Max, Interstellar, and Boondock Saints.
My favorite books are World War Z, Nexus, and the Series of Unfortunate Events.
My favorite video games are Bioshock Series, Fallout Series, Rocket League, and Braid

I single handedly created a relationship and student travel abroad program between two universities.
