Overview
About Me
I'm a 19 year old student from rainy Vancouver (home is where the rain boots are)!
I have a love for history and languages, and an abiding fondness for tasty eats. I'm also an artist and a writer, so you can generally expect to see me scribbling something or another down...if I'm not already busy scarfing down a snack, that is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Starting in Febraury 2015, I'll be in Switzerland (Lausanne) for an exchange term to improve my French! In the summer, I'll be traveling Europe for the first time and would love to have some couches to crash on then. I also think that speaking and interacting with locals is the best way to learn to appreciate a city.
I hope we get to meet and share stories!

Music, Movies, and Books
Lord Huron, Arctic Monkeys, Mother Mother, Marina & the Diamonds, Beyoncé (of course), Said the Whale, Stromae, Fitz and the Tantrums...basically any vaguely hipster indie band, I'm probably a fan (sorry)
Movies: Big Hero 6, Brokeback Mountain (haha), Shelter, Mean Girls, Troy, Clueless, 21 Jump Street, J'ai tué ma mère, Un monstre à Paris, The Lion King
Books of all genres, all the time. I love books. Off the top of my head: HARRY POTTER, Wuthering Heights, The Raven Boys, Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, Macbeth, Geek Love, The Song of Achilles, On the Jellicoe Road, the Lumatere Chronicles, The Bell Jar, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ask me at the end of the summer, and hopefully I'll have some dazzling stories to tell :)
