Hi, I’m Mary and I’m so excited for my first trip to Europe!

I love day hikes, wandering new cities, and soaking in the local vibe. I’m respectful, tidy, and always happy to clean, help with chores, care for pets, or cook. I truly enjoy being helpful and making hosts feel appreciated.

I spent most of my life in Southern California and my summers in North Dakota, but now I spend most of the year traveling. I’ve been road-tripping around the US for the past couple of years, meeting amazing people and exploring beautiful places. Now I’m continuing the adventure abroad and hoping to connect with locals through Couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people while I travel, not just seeing new places, but experiencing them through the eyes of locals.

This is my first time in Europe, I want it to be more than just sightseeing. I’d much rather stay in someone’s home, share stories, and learn about the culture in a real, personal way.

Since I’ve had amazing experiences road-tripping across the U.S. and house/pet sitting through TrustedHousesitters, I know how meaningful it is to share space respectfully and with good energy. Couchsurfing feels like a natural next step in my travels and I’m really excited to be part of the community!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to hidden hot springs with new friends I met on the road, then we spent the night on the top of a mountain stargazing and exchanging stories.
