CURRENT MISSION

After getting married in July 2015, my husband and I started a "year-long honeymoon" where we are traveling around the world for a year. Starting in England, we've driven through Europe into Central Asia, then across Siberia to the east coast of Russia. What an adventure it's been! Now we are in North America, starting in Vancouver before heading south along the western coast of the States. Traveling for this amount of time isn't cheap, so we'd love to save some money and meet new friends through Couchsurfing!!

ABOUT US

We are Mary Martha, 26, and Alastair, 29. I(MM) am from and Texas and Alastair(Ali) is from England. We met in Vietnam in April 2014 and were recently married in the Caribbean this summer. We both love traveling, hence the crazy road trip we've embarked on, meeting new people and having the best time possible!

We are well-rounded travelers in that we like to see and do a little bit of everything: arts and culture, food and drink, local nature and adventure sports, but we especially like finding the hidden gems in each of the places we visit!

Top things: pretty much any form of live music, night markets, crafts shows, dive bars, yummy street food

We are clean, considerate and respectful of other people's privacy and personal space. We understand that you are inviting us into your home and that we are your guests and not your roommates ;)

-camel riding in Mongolia
-climb Mt Kilimanjaro (on the second time around)
-visit the DMZ in South Korea.. Hey Kim Jong!
-surviving night diving in Cambodia without pooping my pants
-out drank Fred Durst in Siberia
-finished a MASSIVE Chipotle burrito in under 5 minutes
