About Me
Hello Couch Surfing community! My name is Mary-Hannah. I live close to the Earth in my little yurt in the woods in Western Massachusetts, United States.
I spend my days juggling my artistic practices - writing songs and poetry, creating performance, and making botanical perfumes for my apothecary. I have a small local practice which is focused on body-centered healing work and plant medicine, and am also a birth doula.
In my free time, I love to spend time walking in the woods or near water, and I practice a dance form called Contact Improvisation, which has communities of practice worldwide.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While, traveling, I'd love to get to know locals and other travelers I might not otherwise meet. Perhaps we can stay in touch via letters :)
