ABOUT ME

Interested in the backstage of everything. While attending events I was jealously looking at organizers wondering what's going on behind the curtain. That's why I've gotten into organizing the main film festival in my country and later on the major theatre festival here. Now I'm in charge of communications of boutique film festival dedicated to Northern cinema.

I was interested in the backstage of media. Now I'm working as an Editor of special projects. This job is an intersection between journalism, advertising, media management, and management. The backstage freak of mine is absolutely content.

I was also interested in what's really happening in the country rather than doing sightseeing. That's how I've started traveling on my own and enjoyed it a lot while actually hearing "Maria, there has been war in Georgia 4 years ago, it can be dangerous', 'Maria, China is insanely far away, what would you do there', Maria, Iran is Islamic country'.

Yet I'm still alive and still more than excited to learn the backgrounds of countries.

Intereses

My latest interest is the economics of any creative industry. I find it extremely interesting to learn how filmmaking works, how to draw the public to the festival, how to produce music, to sell music and so on.
