I am a 23 year old landscape architect with a passion of studying human interaction with the urban landscape. I was born and raised in Southern California, and I guess I am the stereotypical Californian since I surf and skateboard. I love to bike and think it's the way of the future! I like to do film photography when I travel and I also love exploring new music and experimenting as a DJ. I am very open-minded and tolerant off all genders,races, sexualities. I identify as a pansexual and also consider myself an environmentalist; I have a detestation for cars and have been a vegetarian for the last 6 years.

I am now studying my master's in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design here in Piacenza, Italy. I hope to gain an international view of urban design to take back to the US, when (or if) I return in a few years.

I think the best way to understand a place, is to understand its people. Couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to experience the real people in the city I am traveling in. I love meeting new people and having a chance to understand their cultures and way of life.

Music:
I was a radio DJ for four years and because of this I developed an eclectic taste. I grew up on jazz and the Rolling Stones. My music preference evolved into Ska and Punk, then folk punk and a bit of indie. Now, I can be found listening to experimental, electronic and world music. Here is a link to my spotify.

Movies:
I am a huge fan of movies, and love making films with my friends. My recent favorites include Moonlight, Boyhood, Spirited Away, etc. My favorite films are independent and international ones.

Books:
I am a fan of Science fiction - authors like Ray Bradbury and Haruki Murakami.
