I am a visual journalist currently studying at UC Berkeley. I am originally from upstate New York in the Adirondacks, but lived in NYC for 10 years. I love to travel, and have to often for work.

My background is in photography, which I fell in love with in my high school dark room in 9th grade. I am extremely outgoing and easy to get a long with. I love sarcastic humor, and hope to marry Larry David one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am potentially interning in New York City this summer, and I am looking to save money on rent as much as possible. I am trying to save up to buy a car this summer, and will need to save every penny for living expenses for my final year in graduate school.

I love watching stand up, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Cheers, and any other old sitcoms that have vaguely offensive jokes since they were written over a decade ago.

My favorite movie is Goodfellas, and I will forever have a crush on Ray Liotta.

I also love anything involving Meg Ryan and her magical hair.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Havana, Cuba for 5 weeks to work on a photo essay about the energy forming around younger generations of Cubans. I've also went sky diving in Vermont once, that was pretty rad.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm extremely respectful of space, and I have never officially couch surfed but I will keep the area that I am sleeping in very clean. I always pick up after myself in the morning, and I am from NY so I won't need any help getting around.
