Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I are setting sail on a new adventure starting September 1, 2023 to travel the US in a fifth wheel on a year long road trip.
I was a Spanish teacher for many years, and now work for a tech start-up in a fully remote position and we are taking advantage of the opportunity to do some travelling.
We're super excited for this adventure and looking forward to meeting some cool people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music. Some of my favorite bands are Trampled by Turtles, Mumford and Sons, Alt-J, The Avett Brothers, Bob Marley, Bishop Briggs, Billy Holliday, Florence and the Machine, The Hip Abduction, X Ambassadors.
I love quirky weird movies. Some favorites: Super Troopers, Shaun of the Dead, Moonrise Kingdom, The Fundamentals of Caring, 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared.
I binge on a lot of TV shows, mostly British, on Netflix also.
I don't find a lot of time to read, but I listen to audiobooks while on walks and the most recent was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
