About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We are hoping to do some serious traveling in next few years. In the meantime, if we can host travelers in our home we would love to offer our hospitality.
ABOUT ME
My husband and I live on a beautiful 65 acre farm. We are far from the madding crowd in rural Southwestern Ontario. We have a large 1890s farm house with two extra bedrooms. In the summer we pitch our 14' x 16' tent featuring a queen bed.
Interests
Local food and cuisine. Community involvement. Rural arts and culture.

Movies: "a trip to Italy".
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English as a foreign language so my guests get a constant supply of vocab, pronunciation, speaking, and listening.
Guests will learn about rural southwestern Ontario. Always lots going on in the community and we try to support lots of it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We live on 60 acres near the small town of Glencoe, mid way between Toronto and Detroit. The VIA train goes right by our farm and stops twice per day. The Greyhound bus also goes by our community, going back and forth between Toronto and Windsor.
Our house does not have any couches. In the summer we have a beautiful 14' X 16' foot Glamping tent for our guests. We have two spare rooms, one single bed and one with a double bed. Breakfast always included.
Assistance with special projects or community events. My husband is an egg farmer and knows a lot about poultry husbandry. I am a community development practitioner and have a lot of computer skills that might be helpful. We can be helpful in the garden or on the farm.
