ABOUT ME

I am 26 years old and I live in Orlando, Florida in the United States. I am a midwife. I love the outdoors...camping, hiking, diving, swimming..just about anything that you can do outside! I love food..both cooking and eating. I enjoying meeting new people and learning about their city and culture, so I can't wait to begin couchsurfing in the near future!

I believe that you learn something from everyone you meet and that every experience you have shapes your life in some way..big or small. I think it is important to be open to new experiences and people..make the most of every experience and embrace every opportunity that is presented to you.

Currently I plan on surfing, but when I return home and finish graduate school I would love to host and return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of April 2012, but I hope to gain some shortly when I begin a 2-3 month trip to Europe in May!

Interests

I love new experiences! I love the outdoors, live music (primarily rock, but I like about anything!), trying new local food, wine, horror movies, football (American soccer), rowing, cooking, exercising, traveling (obviously) and dancing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love nearly any horror film and psychological thriller..even the really bad ones. I also am a sucker for a good romantic comedy! Some of my favorite movies are 28 Days Later, Hearts in Atlantis, Fido, Away We Go, The Devils Rejects, Garden State, Dawn of the Dead, The Business of Being Born and The Notebook.

Music: I primarily listen to rock, but I like just about anything! I also love music that is good to dance to!

Books: Some of my favorite books are The Alchemist, Baby Catcher, The Continuum Concept and The Zombie Survival Guide.
