I just quit my job and hopped in a van and am travelling around the US for a few months with a friend. I am a biologist, specializing in endangered bat surveys, which the bulk of the field work is completed in the summer months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always heard great things about the people on couchsurfing, and it seems like an awesome alternative when travelling. I think it will be a great way to experience new cities and get suggestions from hosts of places to check out.
