So many adventures and so little time to write them down right now, but here's a sample:

Completed "The Way of Saint James" (Jacob's Trail or El Camino de Santiago) starting from Valença (120Km 🥾)!
Hitchhiked in the Balcans and Northern Ireland 👍!
Skinny dipping in the Adriatic sea 🧜‍♀️!
Joined a Volunteer Program in India 🛺!
Zipline for 1538m and up to 150m high 😄!
Figure drawing art model 🎨!
Experienced a rainbow gathering 🌈!
Caving adventure in central Portugal ⛏️!
Quad safari in Greece 🛵!
Bathed in the Ganges River🥻!
Wild nature safari in Kenya 🦁!
Via Ferrata 🧗‍♀️ and canyoning 🏞️ in northern Portugal!
Pilgrimage to a monastery perched high up on a mountain in Montenegro ⛪!
Climbed Vesuvius volcano and hiked around its crater 🌋!
Standed on the equator line with one foot on the northern hemisphere and the other one on the southern hemisphere 🌍!
Joined a roller derby team 🛼!
Watched the sunset in the desert 🌄!
Watched the sunrise in the Indian Ocean 🌅!
Floated in a salt lake in the crater of an extinct volcano 👙!
Snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea and in the Atlantic Ocean 🤿!
I fed and cuddle Asian elephants 🐘(Maya: I miss you!)!
Swam along side a whale shark 🦈!
Failed 🤷‍♀️ to reach the Peña Trevinca peak, the highest point in Galicia (2127m high) ⛰️!

As a host:
I'll probably be working during the day (portuguese are not as lazy as you might have heard!) so for that most likely I will not join you while touring the city.
If you're planning to come over to Coimbra on a weekend it is likely that I won't be able to host you, since it's common that I spare my free time travelling around, but who knows (?), you might aswell try it and get lucky!
I would love to show you some of the portuguese gastronomy which is the best way to retain travelling memories.
If you're vegetarian or vegan I must tell you in advance that I also enjoy preparing veggie/vegan versions of traditional dishes and my creativity had never let me down!
My boyfriend João is into winemaking, craft beer, history and linguistics so he can provide you with lots of fun, curious and some really useless facts on this topics!

I can share my joy and laughs!
I'm a pretty talkative person who's genuinely into getting to know people and their culture.
I love cooking and Portuguese gastronomy so if I have the chance would love to prepare a traditional dish (even in a veggie version!) for us to share.
I do search for specific hosts to stay in with as for I'm searching for true interactions and bonding with others, even though I know that most of the time people don't have much free time, but still, it all starts with a conection.
