Hi guys, we are Mary and Loic (32y.o.) from France. At the moment we are cycling clockwise around Shikoku, from Tokushima to Imabari where we will ride the Shimanami Kaido and then head to Hiroshima. We have already reached Kochi and will cycle along the Shimanto gawa.

We are both easy going, have good manners and are always keen to help around.

TRIP INFO:
We started cycle touring in November in New Zealand, we have cycled both Island over there, which represents over 4300kms.
We then flew to Tokyo with the bikes, after visiting the city we took the Shinkansen to Maibara and cycle around Lake Biwa to Kyoto, Nara, Sakurai, Wakayama where we took the Nankai ferry to Tokushima. We have cycled to Anan an then the road 195 to Kochi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We started offering people travelling in Cork (Ireland) a bed, then we joined CouchSurfing and hosted a couple of people before travelling. We never plan so we barely used CS but decided to try it again on our cycle tour to have a local insight.

Music: all kinds of music as long as it sounds good to our ears.

Movies: It's been a while since we've seen one.

Books: No TV on a bike tour so we read whatever book we find, Sci Fi, Thrillers...

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you some French, or as we cook a lot some French recipes, our Japanese is broken so a couple of helpful expression will be nice, we have to learn how to make a good ramen :) We can always share food and good company

We always carry some food on the bikes so we can try to make something amazing with this, and we always provide good company.
