CURRENT MISSION

I want to pay forward the kindness and awesome experiences I had as a surfer via couchsurf during my 4500 mile walkabout of the 30 states east of the Mississippi River from Oct 2013 - Oct 2014. I walked Because I Can. Now id like to host Because I Can

ABOUT ME

After my walk, I spent 2 months back home in Boston working to gains some funds and reconnecting with friends and family. Then in January 2015, I moved to Harmony, PA, a village I discovered while walking. Im here to write the book of my travels and live a beautiful life.

As for me, Im talkative, fun, strong, and waiting to meet you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING!! This has far exceeded my expectations! I have met so many people that have shown me so much more about the world outside the one Ive been living in! I cant wait to see who else I meet and what I'll experience through their eyes! ANd certainly look forward to paying it forward as a host now that my journey is completed!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is raise my son. I believe I have yet to see the most amazing thing for me to see...and when I see that, I still wont have seen it :

The 4500 mile walk was pretty amazing too :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a social worker for 12 years working in DV, not sure how that can be a skill to share, but I was good at my job! I've got years of experience as a bartender and taught group exercise and personal training for many years as well.
