Music, Movies, and Books
Music: oh god, too much. I love funky, jazzy stuff- both old and new (Ella and Louis and Trombone Shorty), but don't mistake "jazz" for "smooth jazz" elevator music stuff. I listen to pop music because it's fun even if it is total crap. I like Beethoven. I like acoustic, bluesy music. Sometimes I even like electronic music. I like the Beatles. I like Taylor Swift. I like early Maroon 5. I love old, familiar tunes, and I also really love discovering new music.
Movies: Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, American Hustle, the Harry Potter series, Boondock Saints. Guilty pleasures: He's Just Not That Into You (and pretty much any chick flick), and everything Johnny Depp
Books: Anne of Green Gables. The Bell Jar. Zen And The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Joan Didion. Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings. The Great Gatsby. I love memoirs and nonfiction, literary fiction, historical fiction, and just generally "the classics."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't consider myself a super amazing person, but I think it's pretty cool that I've marched in THE St. Patrick's Day parade in Dublin with my university marching band.
