CURRENT MISSION
Figuring out this thing called life
ABOUT ME
I am currently a student, finishing up my undergrad degree before starting my PhD, making the most of opportunities while they are available. I move at least once a year, which means I get to live with lots of different people and places. I love to travel and get to know people from all over the world or from my own backyard, with different ideas, opinions and crazy traditions! I spend most of my time studying biology (anyone up for a conversation on molecular genetics or botany?), but I am also a great cook (don't even get me started on how much I love food), I love music, books and films, and I spend most nights hanging out with a beer or going out with friends. I also tend to ask bizarre, unanswerable philosophical questions if the opportunity arises...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm relatively new to the CS world, so I have mostly been surfing through Europe--such an amazing experience. I love the CS community and everyone I have met.
Interests
Music! I don't play (anymore), but I love listening to and sharing it, especially funk, classic and modern rock, jazz, folk, and even some classical, plus all of those oldies that I am addicted to. I think all kinds of music are good... sometimes. I also go backpacking and hiking a lot, through California and Washington and, most recently, the Scottish highlands. Mostly I love having a good time with open-minded people that I meet traveling, talking about life or going out together into the city.
