ABOUT ME
I'm 30 and I just moved to Lille with my boyfriend, which is a COOL little town. I'm french but have some english family. I lived in south of France until i was 18 and lived in Paris until March 2011. I'm into arts (I studied history of art and communication architecture -design d'espace de com-). I like to go walking (i have some family in the Alpes), i like nature, environmentalism, and many other things. At the moment, I do some illustration, graphic desgin, and theatre set decoration.
PHILOSOPHY
For me attention is the key, it's the only way of fully understanding anything. Attention to yourself, others, and the world that surrounds us.
Oh and there is this marvelous quote from Aldous Huxley:
"It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one's life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than 'try to be a little kinder.'"
Interests
I love many things, so if I had to choose I'd say : drawing, writing and reading, watching good films, eating good food, talking and drinking and singing and etc etc etc with friends, having projects, carrying them through, walking in the mountains. I can't think of any thing else right now but it doesn't mean that it's an exhaustive list.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to jazz, samba, funk, rock, soul, baroque, rap, Bulgarian voices..., all types of music that are born from an interesting reserch and that groove. I like to be surprised. I love to discover things, like the dissonance quartet by Mozart (last thing that stroke me).
I have many favorite movies (Blow up by Antonioni, Rosemary's baby by Polanski, Alice by Woody Allen, Les 400 coups by Truffaut, Ã bout de souffle by Godard, Le dernier des hommes by Murnau, Les feux de la rampe by Charles Chaplin, Le roi et l'oiseau by Paul Grimault, Ran by Kurosawa, West Side Story by Robert Wise, Sunset Boulevard by Billy Wilder, Vertigo by Hitchcock, Solaris by Tarkovski, Down by Law by Jarmush, Wings of desire by Wim Wenders, Delicatessen by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Edward Scissorhands by Tim Burton, Barton Fink by Joel and Ethan Cohen, anything by Kubrick, The Monty Pyton, Almodovar, Fellini...), i just love watching good films.
The books I read are usualy books about art (vive Daniel Arasse !), sociology, linguistic, sometimes a novel (read Roald Dahl's A taste of the unexpected! It's tiny but big!), history, psychology, things I read for my studies. At the moment, I'm pretty much into Alice Miller and Christiane Singer. I also like litterature (I mean just as a leisure) : Henry James, Nabokov, Goethe, Cocteau, Kafka, Vian, Wilde, Zweig, Camus, Flaubert, Huxley, Orwell, Kerouac, Sagan, Debord, Beauvoir, Sartre, etc. etc. etc.... au hasard.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked in a very strong storm in the mountains of north Wales, held an improvised concert on my roof in the center of Paris, went to Brasil, saw Venice and the Grand Canyon, but I must say that the most amazing things I lived are beyond words and are about self-knowledge...
