Interests

I'm interested in making elaborate to-do lists of life projects (teach myself piano and guitar, re-learn how to play the drums, read a biography of each US president, lose 20 pounds, untangle and organize all my cheap jewelery, try being a raw foodist for a couple of weeks) but then not getting to most of them, but then telling myself that I definitely still will, once I have a free couple of months. 30 rock, improv, gospel, animal collective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swimming with sea lions on the Galapagos islands--they were so playful! they loved to come right up to my mask, like 6 inches away, and then dart away suddenly.

really delicious fried eggs can be made by frying them on top of sauteed onions and tomatoes, preferably cherry tomatoes. use a little bit of butter, melt it in the pan, and add diced yellow onions, maybe 1/4 of a small onion for one egg. when they start to soften, add the tomatoes, also diced, and maybe some fresh rosemary or basil if you have it or dried if you don't. make a space in the middle of the pan for the egg or just crack the egg over the veggies. cook for a while, enjoy the aroma, eat.
