About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life and see where the next path leads me!

ABOUT ME

I absolutely love hikes and a good read.

PHILOSOPHY

When you consider things like the stars, our affairs don't seem to matter very much, do they? - V. Woolf

I've met some amazing people in the world and I have to say that the network of travelers are a true inspiration. I've never met anyone that later regret having traveled, but I've met plenty of people wishing that they had.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None officially through this site :) ...yet

Interests

I truly love reading. My dream life is to live in a cabin where someone replenishes my firewood and I sit and read all day with a glass of wine. I've really gotten into hiking the past year or so and adore being in the woods. But mostly I just enjoy having adventures and meeting people on the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's too many things that I could list here. But gun to my head favorite books include The Bridge of San Luis Rey, Fair and Tender Ladies and Into The Wild

Movies: Amelie, Rushmore and 28 Days Later

Music: Honestly I dig anything from early punk or indie alternative to rap and folk. But I love The Magnetic Fields, The Pixies and The Avett Brothers. Oh and anything motown...it's simply the best to dance to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced Carnival in Rio de Janeiro ...it's a wild wild scene.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life's funny. To a kid, time always drags. Suddenly you're fifty. All that's left of your childhood... fits in a rusty little box.

Took the above quote from the film Amelie, but it's pretty accurate. Which is why I think we should do things when we want and when we can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always up for a good time, super easy going and a little weird, which all the best people are.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
