CURRENT MISSION

I just joined couchsurfing to give it a try on my upcoming trip to Europe! Although i've performed at and been a part of several couch crash events here in New York with the band performance group i'm in, Jigsaw Soul.

ABOUT ME

this part is always hard-- well hmmm, the basics, I grew up in middle America on a farm, and now have lived in New York for the past 7 years... so I like both the city and the country! my friends would say i'm really chill and easy going. I have a pretty open personality and things don't really fase me that easily. I'm resilient and resourceful so even in a new situation i deal with it pretty well. i'm a modern dancer and generally a very motivated person- i mean you kind of have to be to be a successful artist.. I love to collaborate and meet other artists. I'm pretty social, but usually in a somewhat reserved way - I mean, i still like a good party every now and then, but a lot of times i just like to have a beer or two and hang out. ummm what else?? i love to see dance - since that's what i do:) I also like a good concert! Live music is the best! oh, did i mention i'm in a band? well, it's a collaborative project and i head up the dance/movement end of it. Who knows, maybe you saw us at a couch surfing event if you were ever in NYC?? we're called Jigsaw Soul...you might know our bassist - he's super active in the nyc couch surfing community.. anyways, what else do people write in this section? i guess i'll leave it at that for now..
