About Me

A dreamer who is trying to enjoy the best of their youth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to explore the world more through the real human communication with people who bare the true culture of their countries.

Interests

Mostly music and festivals (huge crowds of people are my thing). Found myself recently a hobby to take care of house plants. Enjoy cooking as the best way to calm down. Currently studying how to sing (only as an amateur).

Music, Movies, and Books

Modern rock music was the preference all the time but from last summer I love to research about electronic music scene more. I'd say, more of techno, Nicolas Jaar is the true genius in this. Some time ago I was more of a cinephile than music lover, so I watched every movie possible (it's a joke). Nevertheless I love films by Tarantino, Scorcese, Refn, Fincher. Though my favourite director is Denis Villeneuve. Also I am half-through 1984 by Orwell, so that is a glimpse into my reading preferences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I am a little music addict I went to Gdansk last summer for a camping festival Open'er. It was my first time being on a huge Europian fest and I've never felt so alive. You know, I cried during Radiohead set like for five songs in a row even though I am not their huge fan but I was so overwhelmed! The location and the people around me impressed me so much and left speechless for quite a while. Since than I am a fan of combining travelling with music events.

Another thing that I did for the sake of travelling is hitch-hiking. I've been on the road in such a way only four times (I count each such experience as a unique one) and only travelled in Ukraine, but it's an amazing thing that opens up a lot about you and the people of your country. You meet new faces and get so much of priceless knowledge that no other way of travelling can give you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A kind smile for starters. I assure you, it's addictive! Also awkward travelling stories where I got lost in Paris (oh, it must be spoiler!) or talked to an Irishman about Irish cinematography in the middle of a field in Poland (quite a spin, ha)

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In
