ABOUT ME
I’m a little bit of everything in a little bit package. I love to explore and learn, meet new people and experience new adventures.
PHILOSOPHY
Education and understanding the world is how I feel empowered to be a better person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy hosting/ surfing when I can. I also try to join in on local events as much as possible. Couch surfing is not just a thing I do but a community that I feel extremely lucky to be a part of. I have met the most amazing people because of CouchSurfing and my mind has been opened to opportunities I never thought possible. Joining CouchSurfing was a turning point in my life when things went from “Life happens” to “I happen to life”.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been going to many events and surfed with the most incredible hosts. The quality of people I've been meeting through CS are just unbelievable. The people I've been meeting love to live life and that's exactly how life should be. Before I joined couch surfing about every person I met said I had lived a lot and seen so much, NOW couch surfers have been telling me how much more I need to live and how little I've seen and I really appreciate the new outlook in life.
Interests
Hiking, swimming, laughing and talking with friends, reading, watching a good movie, trying new things, living life.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- Love a good chick flick or anything that can make me cry or think deeply about a new perspective.
Music- Mostly modern pop/rock/hip-hop/country/Latin, and so on.
Books- I love a great fiction that I can lose myself in. I also really enjoy non-fictions that are either inspiring or educational. I take everything I read with a grain of salt but I always appreciate adding to my frame of reference, no matter what it is.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving at sunset. Snorkeling in St Thomas. When I was 10 years old I took a hand full of Gold Fishes (the baked snacks), put them in the water at Rock Springs, had many fishes swim really close to me and eat them. I did the same in St Thomas with a dog biscuit and that was just as amazing. One fish tried to eat my finger. I was scared but it was really cute. But really, it’s the small things that I find amazing, like seeing a dog play or hearing the ocean's waves. And even more amazing is the feeling of doing something I never thought I could like having a 3.85 GPA in College with a learning disability.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love improving my language skills on the languages that I know and learning new phrases in new languages. I want to learn how to play the drums too.
I would love to share the thrill of adventure.
I'm not really an expert in any one thing but I would love to share any knowledge that I do have with the people I meet.
