ABOUT ME

I have a Master's degree in German and English languages. I also studied Italian.
Right now I'm interested in photography. I work on personal projects and participate in exhibitions and residencies. You can find what I do here: www.marynashtanko.com
I moved from Ukraine to Germany in March 2022. I had to leave my country due to the war launched by Russia.

I like meeting new people and visiting new places. It's always inspiring to learn something new about other people, cultures, countries, and hobbies. I love when people are passionate about something and can talk for hours about their hobby, job, or whatever it is.

Good things about me (a moment of self-advertising):
- I can watch several movies a day
- I like finding perfect presents for my friends

Interests

Music fan. I can't choose one style. I've visited a few jazz festivals and also rock music festivals. I guess this is the best way of traveling for me.

Several years ago I completed a course on film criticism. Two friends of mine and I created a website where we occasionally write about movies. I've been accredited as a journalist at some big festivals like Berlinale.
