About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The most amazing part about studying abroad is to visit almost any country even for just a weekend. I won't have very many chances to make these trips from the US so I'm taking advantage now and hope to knock out a few of my top locations to visit.
ABOUT ME
I'm a student at San Diego State University. I've lived there for 3 years now. I moved from Charleston, South Carolina where I went to high school. I have a pretty big family so it was hard moving but we all visit each other so that's made it easier to live so far away. Going into my junior year of college I decided to study abroad. I love traveling so I thought I would take advantage while I had the opportunity. I chose Florence, Italy for the location and the Political Science department met my needs. I'm so happy I chose to live here because my roommates are amazing and Florence is such a small and beautiful city. It's only been three weeks and I'm already attached.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life with no regrets. Of course things will happen that I don't appreciate or wish wouldn't happen, but I believe things happen for a reason. Whether it's good or bad.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My roommates and I took in a couch surfer who was traveling down the entire west coast. He was traveling down to Mexico to give his car to a family in need. It was a really neat experience and he seemed to really enjoy it.
Interests
I live by the beach when I'm in the States so I love going there and relaxing or attempting to surf. I love music even though I'm not very talented with the whole playing an instrument thing but I love listening to friends and family play.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving across country to attend college was probably one of the biggest decisions I've made. Me, my sister, and a friend drove my car from South Carolina to San Diego. It took 3 weeks because we made a few pit stops. It was a great time and opened up my interest in traveling. The next big move was coming to Florence, Italy to study. It's been an amazing experience so far.
