About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live and experience while I'm still young.
ABOUT ME
I'm a senior in college at Knox and recently got back from studying abroad in Barcelona. I've got one more year at Knox, then I plan to get a master's in social work. I want to do something good with my education and help people in some way, though I haven't figured out exactly how yet. Ideally, I'd like to work with troubled teens in some way.
I love meeting new people and learning new things.
PHILOSOPHY
It's cliche, but I try to remember that we only live once! Especially that I'll only be young once! Right now is the best time to travel freely and do something like Couchsurf. I have nothing to tie me down necessarily, so I'm just trying to live this lifestyle while I still can! It's not that we can't travel when we're older, but life for a college student is pretty different!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Uluru (Ayer's Rock) in the middle of Australia. Amazing. The entire foreign exchange student experience was pretty great.
Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef. It's scuba diving for sissies, but it was still great.
Camping in Arivaca, Arizona with No More Deaths. Driving/riding in a car for 36 hours straight. Not showering for nine days. Walking on man-made migrant trails every day to leave water and food and hopefully save lives. Meeting other people who loved doing the same. Amazing.
Watching Spanish goats run down a hill. Sounds simple, but it was in a beautiful rural area and you could hear their bells and a little river, and it was great.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love the idea that in this day and age, we can still feel comfortable inviting strangers into our homes. I also love the feeling of being part of the world, part of the big picture. Traveling isn't just about museums, restaurants, tourist attractions, etc. Though those things are great, the best part of traveling is meeting the people of the city!!
