COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some awesome people through couchsurfing so far. It's a great way to make friends and get insights into other cultures. It's also a wonderful thing to share your home and your life with someone new. It makes the world seem like a much friendlier and smaller place.

Interests

I'm really outdoorsy. I love spending time in nature walking and cycling, hiking. Hiking is always on my agenda whether I'm home or travelling.

I love Yoga and practice as often as possible. I also enjoy ecstatic dancing from time to time.

Cooking is one of my great passions in life. I am committed to healthy eating. I don't eat processed foods and try to buy locally sourced meat. Despite being a Yogi I'm not a vegetarian anymore.

Listening to music and playing music. My boyfriend loves music. If you like to play we've got a right handed guitar, piano, music box and a Korg for messing around on.

To relax I love to watch TV, play the piano, read and listen to podcasts.

For fun we love BBQs & gin and tonics! playing music and board games such as Cranium, 30 seconds and Dixit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently watching Mad Men again! Also loved Deadwood, The Americans, Game of Thrones, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and True Blood.

I like fantasy novels. I loved A Game of Thrones, The Dark Matter Trilogy, 100 Years of Solitude and most books by Tom Robbins that I've read.

Music: A few favorites are The Fleet Foxes, The National, Villagers, Arcade Fire, Leftfield, The Cure, The Smiths, Nirvana, Muse, Kate Bush, The Decemberists, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohan, John Lennon, and The Manhattan Syndrome

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the top of Mount Fuji to watch the sun rise back in 2008 and it was spectacular!

I can teach you Yoga or cook you something delicious.

We've got a piano, guitar music box and Korg available here for jamming.
