With my husband Klemen and our two sons we live in Črnomelj in the southeast of Slovenia. Here we have a beautiful river Kolpa, perfect for swimming in summer days. Our region is not that popular for backpackers, as its not that great connected with public transportation, but we hope this changes in the future - as we would love to host more CS guests in our home!

We can offer a comfortable couch in the living room. If we will have some time, we would love to show you around our region.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of staying with local people and experiencing travel from a different perspective. I also love hitchhiking, so I guess Couchsurfing is like hitchhiking, where you don't get a ride but a couch to sleep.
Even though I don't have any references yet, I stayed with hosts on Couchsurfing a couple of times with my Klemen by his profile on the platform and had great experiences! I am always amazed by the generosity and kindness of people we meet using Couchsurfing, that's why I can't wait to do it more and meet more amazing people!
