Overview
About Me
I enjoy jogging, traveling, and learning English.
My wife and I have two daughters.
Our older daughter is 3 and younger one is 1 year old.
I have run in three full marathons.
I especially enjoyed running in the Chicago and Honolulu Marathons.
Compared to running in Japan, I enjoy participating in marathons in the U.S. more because supporters cheering from the roadside help create fun atmosphere by watching us while enjoying barbecuing .
I can also go sightseeing while staying in the city.
However, since I'm been busy at work and our children are still small, I haven't even been able to train lately.
I'm not planning to run another marathon any time soon, either.
I've been learning English more seriously for only 6 months.
My daughters started learning English, and that's how I also started.
I think the best way to encourage your children to do something is that parents show good examples.
My daughters have been improving their English skills by watching Disney videos, singing English songs every day, and participating in their weekly English class.
I also read English picture books to my daughters and sing together.
While doing so, I realized that I would need to study English grammar and vocabulary.
So, I've been working on it.
However, it's like putting the cart before the horse, and my wife complained that I was spending too much time on English and not enough time on our children.
I need to think about how to allocate my time wisely so that I can take care of my daughters while studying English.
