CURRENT MISSION

I've never really thought about making up a bucket list - in fact it sounds like a tedious thing to do - but turning 31 has changed my perspective on a number of things so I kind of have a tiny one. Maybe I should call it a cup list, considering the size.

ABOUT ME

Describing myself today would be different from describing myself tomorrow or the day after. For the most part, I am a fairly average person with a deadpan sense of humour. I am currently on a journey to self-discovery, spirituality and getting old.

PHILOSOPHY

Deodorant is important. Even on holiday.

WHY THE HECK AM I ON COUCHSURFING?!

Ok, I think the initial plan was to be cool and happening but I didn't have space to host. And then now I have a place to host. So I guess the plan is still to be cool and happening?!

HOSTING NOTE:

Aloha, potential friends.

I've gotten a fair bit of requests asking to host but my beef is this. The requests are very last minute. Like a host me tonight kind of thing and I live by myself and typically come back late after work so I don't know, this is gonna be hard for me and for you. Also, I leave for work really early at 6.40am so again, we're totally not going to have the bonding over breakfast thing going on unless you decide to jump in the car with me to work.

Do you want to be the Couchsurfer who only comes to sleep and drop off the keys in my mailbox the next day before you jet off to your next awesome destination? See, this is me making a sad face ---> :(

A better alternative is that you make the request some weeks in advance and then I can apply for leave so that way I can take you around to do things around my city. And then we can have conversations, (bad) cooking sessions and even karaoke!
