About Me
Hello! I am an wild traveller and a person who has found happiness in moving, contemplating and improving my mind and body. I was a student of the Department of Arts and Crafts at Samara State Institute of Culture where we are taught to draw, mould shapes, weave tapestries, engrave wood, paint on fabric and a lot of other interesting things. In my free time I go hiking, travel about Russia and discover what is not taught either at schools or universities. I have been to such Russian cities as St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Saransk, Ulyanovsk, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Sochi, Buzuluk, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, on Altai, Baikal and others - all of them a year and a half before my age of majority. In February last year I travelled to Abkhazia. This spring I'm going to the Vietnam, after that I want to go to Cambodia. And then ... I do not know. In any case, whatever my life brings to me and wherever it leads to, I know one thing: this journey is truly fascinating and amazing. And everyone I've met on my way has been a teacher to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why am I on this site? Because it seems to me that this site gives you a wonderful opportunity and a chance to meet different people, to get acquainted with different cultures and traditions.
Interests
I can say that I am particularly attracted to art and creativity. Before I entered the institute, for seven years I had attended music classes to major in piano performance. Then I met a wonderful man who played the guitar very well. This urged me to buy a guitar and learn to play it. That year I bought a ukulele in St. Petersburg, and now I am learning to play it. I like other instruments, too, and when there is an opportunity to try one of them, I always use it. In my spare time I learning the buddhism philosophy.
I learn Tibetan and Buryat. I'm always interested to learn new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
I differentiate the music I listen to depending on what I do. There is music I turn on only when I draw. There is music which lasts only for a day. There is music which helps me to stay calm and concentrate. There is music which has no sound, it is silence, and this is the music I mark out of all. Talking about movies, I’d rather choose documentaries, biographical and educational films. Here I can add anything that contributes to my development, or which inspires and animates me. One of such films is "Human". Whereas I can still somehow live without movies and music, I cannot possibly live without books. From them I draw information, and thanks to them I improve. That is why I read every day, at least several pages.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lone travel. In one of these trips, I got lost in the woods. Thanks to the compass, I found a way. There I lived alone on the shore of the lake, the Ural house hunters. After a while I went to the village. Where he went on.
This summer was the first time in the mountains and tried climbing camp at Lake Baikal. There I was a volunteer. After the campaign I made trainers. I led a group of adults. It was an invaluable experience. Great responsibility.
I tried bouldering.
jumping from a cliff into the water on the island.
Together with the children sitting on the rocks and watched the storm.
In fact, surprising moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can acquaint with the Russian language, tell about Russian culture and traditions. I can try to teach to play the piano, guitar or maybe ukulele. I can share what I’ve learned from other people about the countries and places I have been to. And we can give each other joy and smiles.
