Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As clichéd as this sounds, I love to travel and don't always have the option of living in a hotel. Couch surfing allows me to explore cities by living with the local residents and making my experience more personal and less tourist-y.

Interests

I love reading, swimming and cooking; survive on music. If I'm not doing one of the these, I'm either buried in work or out exploring some new place. Or maybe I'm too tired and just watching Netflix in bed. 😋

I am an absolute foodie, and love Pakistani/Indian, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Turkish and British cuisine. I cook Pakistani/Indian food pretty well too, along with British and Italian dishes!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Fond of Classical, Jazz, Blues, Pop and Country music, as well as Eastern genres of music including classical, ghazals and qawwalis (Sufi music).

Enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction, including both classical and contemporary works. Particularly fond of contemporary Middle Eastern/South Asian writers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a decent chef and can teach pretty good Pakistani/Indian cuisine.
