ABOUT ME

All? That'll be a long story.
People describe me as a warm woman, artistic, musical, lots of humour, serious (there's no contradiction here), broad minded, eager to learn, hardly being able to sit still...
Besides my son and my husband, I love nature, good books, theater, world music, classical music, art (usually not too comtemporary), geocaching, ...

And I love to travel! Experience other cultures, meet other people, make friends, spark conversations that carry me to new thoughts and possibilities.
For years, I haven't been able to really travel (as opposed to simple camping and/or house sitting), due to quite severe illness. I'm working on recovery, though. And, although I'm not 'there' yet, I have made my first trips abroad. It was absolutely amazing. It really hooked me up again (if ever I lost 'the hook'...)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We very much like hosting people of any kind and surf some couches myself/ourselves. Seeing more of the world and other cultures, meeting other people, and help other people do the same. Share in hospitality and learn from each other, that's what this world is in need of.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far all of my experiences have been amazing.
The community gives me even a lot more than I could ever have imagined. I'm hooked for life!

Being alive!! And having the most beautiful son. (These two things almost did not combine.)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Always willing to learn.
My husband can tell you all about Neuro Linguistic Programming and intra/interpersonal communication.
Our son Ruben can teach you to love life and how to play the violin or the viola!
And I can teach you a lot about cats (amongst other things), artistic techniques and crafts and gardening.
We would like to share with you, our guest, if you know what I mean...
