ABOUT ME

I'm currently conquering my fears: riding a motorbike in Indonesia was the first, giving up the privileged things in life another, entering the deep blue and opening my eyes a third...a person on such a journey doesn't yet know *all about* herself - I hope I never will.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to live safe. Now, I'm studying the art of living. Of course, there is this to keep in mind: Study and practice are both very important, but they must go hand in hand. Practice without knowledge is not sufficient. Practice needs to be supported by reason. However intellectual understanding that is not applied in practice is also of little use. Whatever we learn from study we need to apply sincerely in our daily lives.

I will learn 100 Chinese characters on this trip. If you can help me find a starting point, well, you're awesome because that would be helpful and you've actually bothered to read through my entire profile. I can share all things photography & film (I'm still learning & always will be). I can certainly teach you some Bosnian...you never know when you'll need a word in the land of blood and honey.
