Like most on Couchsurfing, traveling is one of my great hobbies. Exploring the unknown, discovering new places and meet great people. What makes all this great are the people I meet along the way.

After living in many country and exploring traveling to many places I am currently living in Munich Germany.

I completed my MA degree in international relations and Asian studies in South Korea. After graduation I returned to the Netherlands and now I work and live near Amsterdam.

Traveling around the world and meeting people of different cultures is what I really enjoy. Travel is for me synonymous to socializing. No travel is complete without meeting local people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I enjoy watching are the Matrix, Inception and Cloud Atlas. Reading I don't do that much but I recommend books from authors such as Koji Suzuki, Stephen King, Stieg Larsson. My music taste is too weird to describe just anything with a rhythm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking mount Fuji in Japan, Crazy party nights in Hong Kong, Racing with 120Km/s without a helmet around Koh Samui in Thailand, backpacking in China for 3 months. Cycling through 3 KM long tunnels in Northern China that are not lighted...
